Information You Submit
A name, phone number, or address entered into a search form is sent to the third-party provider that supplies the results. Beverly Hills Residents Directory does not keep a copy of those searches on its own servers. If you contact the operator, the message and any details in it are used to answer the request.
Routine Server Information
Hosting systems may record an IP address, browser type, viewed pages, and timestamps. Those logs help maintain the pages and understand use in aggregate. Basic analytics, cookies, or similar technologies may also support measurement or advertising where enabled by the service providers.
How the Information Is Used
The operator uses available information to run the reference, troubleshoot failures, measure traffic, and improve pages. It does not sell a visitor list or build an individual user profile from these limited inputs.
External Portals and Links
Pages link to Los Angeles County and California portals, Beverly Hills offices, library collections, archives, and third-party search tools. Once you leave this reference, the outside provider’s privacy policy controls what you submit there. Sponsored results are supplied by a third party as well.
Who May Receive It
Hosting and technical support providers may process ordinary server logs. Analytics or advertising partners may receive the automatic information described above when those services operate. Information is disclosed when valid legal process requires disclosure and otherwise is not intentionally shared beyond these service relationships.
Security and Retention
The pages use an encrypted connection. Logs are retained only for the operational purposes described above and for as long as those purposes require. There are no user accounts, passwords, or personal profiles maintained by this reference.
People Under 18
The reference is intended for adults and is not directed to children. The operator does not knowingly collect personal information from anyone under 18. If a minor may have sent information, use the Contact page so the operator can review and delete what it controls.
Your California Privacy Rights
California’s CCPA and CPRA, Civil Code §§1798.100 et seq., may provide rights to know or access, delete, correct, opt out of sale or sharing, limit sensitive-personal-information use, and avoid discrimination, subject to the law’s scope and exceptions. Because this reference keeps little data, a request normally involves checking the contact mailbox and available server logs. Use the Contact page to ask.
The California Delete Act, including Civil Code §§1798.99.80 et seq., also created DROP for registered data-broker deletion requests. Those rights apply to covered businesses and brokers, not automatically to lawful deeds, permits, court files, or other government records. A removal request for an official record belongs with its custodian.
Policy Updates
Changes will be posted here with the revised policy. Continued use after an update indicates acceptance of the new version.
